Day One

Impulse decisions...let's see how they play out. I've decided that I want to write a blog. Any idea why? Nope. Do I intend for people to read it? Maybe.

So. What's the point of the blog to be? Well...I thought about that one for a while, and came to the conclusion that it's got to have something to do with video games. Yup. Video games. Well Self, that's a pretty broad topic, let's narrow it down, shall we? Alright...let's see...I have 110 games on steam, and most of them will play on the go on the lappy-toppy. I think I'm on to something! I've got it. An addiction? Yes, probably. But I have gotten nearly all of them either on sale, or as gifts, so there's always that. The problem is that if I have played them, I've only cracked into them. Seen the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. Well...with the purpose in mind of having SOMEBODY to talk to about the games that I've got, and actually playing them enough to get my money out of them, I shall play through them, and leave comments on each one, as well as an update when I decide (against my better judgement) that I NEED to have another one.

So...now I have a plan. Sort of. I dunno. How should I tackle this endeavor? I could do it alphabetically. Or perhaps by genre? Perhaps play games by metascore from worst to best? Hmmm...I'll stew on this one overnight, and start with "Hack. Slash. Loot." which I just picked up today. Wish me luck, and I'll report on it upon completion, or the closest thing I deem to be such!
